Jason McGovern, Executive Director

Jason McGovern has been advising companies in China since 1994. Prior to joining TBG, Jason initiated and implemented a China market entry strategy for an Australian software company, and was subsequently Chief Executive Officer of the China-based subsidiary for two years. He also spent six years as Senior Strategy Manager at a large Australian bank and worked as an economist at the Australian Embassy in Beijing.

Jason holds a Masters of Commerce from the University of Melbourne, a Bachelor of Commerce from La Trobe University and a Bachelor of Arts (Honours) from La Trobe University where he majored in sociology and political science. He is a fluent Mandarin speaker.
