Jeff Liu, Executive Director

Jeff Liu joined The Balloch Group in 2006 and has since then led a number of successful private placements and IPO sourcing projects. Prior to his time at The Balloch Group, he was responsible for HJ Vanguard’s M&A business, where he presided over both cross-board and domestic deals in energy, automotive, IT and logistics. He also worked as a Financial Analyst for IAM Asset Management and the Oakville municipal government in Canada from 2002 to 2004. Beginning in 1993, he spent 7 years in sales & marketing as Chief Representative in China for Quantum, a business consultant for IBM China and as Senior Marketing Manager for Compaq China.

Jeff Liu earned an MBA from McMaster University in Canada and a Bachelor degree in Electrical Engineering from Tsinghua University in Beijing, China.
