Joyce Yu, Associate

Joyce Yu joined The Balloch Group in 2005. She is responsible for identifying, screening and evaluating new investment opportunities, particularly in the consumer goods and financial services sectors. Prior to joining TBG, she worked as a marketing executive for Hanfeng Group, where she was involved in the company’s preparations for listing on the Toronto Stock Exchange. Joyce also has retail experience with Future Shop, the largest electronics store in Canada, as well as Wal-Mart, Canada.

Joyce has a Bachelor of Commerce degree from the Sauder School of Business at University of British Columbia in Canada, with a major in Marketing and a minor in Management Information Systems. She received her Master of Science degree in Investments from The University of Birmingham in England.
