Nereida Flannery, Senior Advisor

Nereida Flannery is a Co-founder of TBG and now serves as a Senior Advisor to the firm. Between founding and 2008, Ms. Flannery led TBG’s natural resources transactions, including the first series of TBG’s involvement in Chinese overseas acquisitions.

Prior to joining TBG, Ms. Flannery was Vice President for International Business Development at Alibaba.com, Asia's largest B2B online marketplace. She also served as Country Manager of the Canada China Business Council in China (CCBC), where she worked closely with member companies to design, execute and monitor their China entry strategies.

Ms. Flannery has a Political Science degree from Queen's University in Canada and speaks Mandarin Chinese, French and Greek.
