Cheryl Tang, Executive Director

Cheryl Tang joined TBG in 2010 and leads TBG’s investment research team. Ms. Tang has 15 years of experience as Senior Equity Analyst at Goldman Sachs, Bank of China International and JPMorgan covering the Greater China equity market. Ms. Tang has extensive knowledge in a wide range of industries including: alternative energy, utilities, consumer durables, transportation, chemicals and machinery. Prior to joining TBG, Ms. Tang served as Executive Director at Goldman Sachs where she led the Asia Alternative Energy Team and was a lead analyst in two US-listed pre-IPO research reports. Ms. Tang was named 2008’s Top Analyst for the alternative energy sector in Wall Street Journal’s ‘Best on the Street’ analyst survey, and was awarded the No. 3 best analyst award for the consumer durables sector in New Fortune’s Brokers Poll 2005. 

Ms. Tang received her BA in Scientific English from Shenyang University.
