David Ching, Executive Director and Head of TBG (HK)

David, based in Hong Kong, joined The Balloch Group in May 2008 to spearhead cross-border investment and merchant banking activities in China. Before joining TBG, David spent ten years originating and executing transactions for global investment banks including Credit Suisse, JP Morgan and Dresdner Kleinwort Wasserstein. In the course of his career, he has closed over US$5 billion of IPOs, LBOs, M&As and direct investment transactions in China, the United States and Europe.

David earned an MBA from Yale University and a BA in Economics from Harvard University. David is a member of the Admissions Committee at Harvard Club New York.
