Ron Shuang, Managing Director

Mr. Shuang is currently the Managing Director at The Balloch Group responsible for private equity investment. Ron actively participates in strategic and operational management of portfolio companies, guiding their market expansion, business operations, strategic alliances, and exit strategy. Between 2008 and 2009, Mr. Shuang has played a critical role in successfully raising several RMB Funds ranging from RMB 200 million to RMB 500 million. He has over 16 years of experience in both China and the US working in senior and executive capacities in private equity investment, strategic consulting, marketing, and business development.

Prior to joining TBG, he was the Investment Director at Infinity Equity (a Jewish global private equity fund managing US $600 million), managing deal origination, investment analysis, valuation, negotiation, and initial public offerings/trade sales of portfolio companies. Mr. Shuang has also worked as a strategic consultant at McKinsey & Company, where he advised many mid market and Fortune 500 companies and private equity clients on cross border investments, mergers & acquisitions, post M&A integrations and market entry/growth strategies. Mr. Shuang has also worked for Akzo Nobel (China) and Pfizer (US) as associate BD director and project portfolio manager.

Mr. Shuang holds a Master in Healthcare Management from Harvard, a MBA from University of Michigan, Ann Arbor, USA, and a Bachelor of Science from Wuhan University, China.
